As a mum or a new mum, think about how much you love your little human that you grew inside YOUR body for around 10 months, what you went through to bring them into this world, how you would do anything for them and want to protect them and keep them safe at almost any cost.
Fast forward a little to when they are older, and body image issues start creeping in.
Would you call them fat?
Im guessing no.
What would you tell them?
I would tell Myka ::
You have fat, you are not fat.
You are brave.
You are strong.
You are assertive.
You are allowed and can do anything she wants to put her mind too.
Get outside and play, connect and have fun.
Find the things that you love and spend your time and energy doing those things more often.
Go and jump in the ocean and feel the peace it brings.
Go and find new things to try, to live a life full of adventure.
Eat well and move to build your body into the awesome vehicle, that is going to allow you to live out your life's purpose.
You are more than what you see in the mirror.
You are here to make an impact on people around you, it is up to you to find out what that is.
Failure is simply a detour and not the end.
Money is best spent on experiences and learning not makeup and clothes.
Feeling awkward is ok, when you push through sometimes there are great lessons to be learnt.
I did my best to show you that I did all these things, so that you are never fearful of being ALL that you can be.
Mummas you can't tell and hope for your little humans one thing, then live out your life thinking and doing the opposite for yourself.
So write out what you want for them and start striving to live the same.
Crowd out the body image shit, stop wasting your precious energy.
You have fat, but you are not fat.
